The CMA Program was conducted at the Kingsbury Hotel, in Colombo Sri Lanka. The number of participants was the largest yet, with 65 senior CEOs, CFOs and finance and marketing professionals participating. Companies from all sectors of the Sri Lankan economy were represented: Manufacturing; Banking; Insurance; Pharmaceuticals; Logistics; Telecommunications and Consultancy amongst others. The 7-Day workshop was organised by Mr Kapila Dodamgoda and his team at the Academy of Finance which is ICMA Australia’s Recognised Provider Institution in Sri Lanka; and facilitated by Professor Janek Ratnatunga, CEO of ICMA. During his visit to Sri Lanka, Professor Ratnatunga also met with senior members of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) on areas of possible mutual co-operation.
