The two-year Graduate Management Accountant (GMA) membership of ICMA is valued at $330 ($165 per year). For a limited time, we have waived the membership fees for postgraduate students and recent graduates.

This GMA membership offer gives you complementary membership for two financial years (July-June). Kindly note that the application fee of AUD$99 and the one-time joining fee of AUD$198 is not waived but instead is deferred to a time when you take up AMA or CMA paid membership.

Minimum requirements: To apply for GMA membership you must be a registered student in a postgraduate (Masters or PhD) program in accounting or finance at a recognised university, or be enrolled in an MBA program. The GMA is also available for recent graduates of Bachelors or Masters degrees in Accounting/Finance; or an MBA.

As a GMA member, once accumulating more than three years’ experience you can upgrade to AMA and CMA membership levels to access their relevant post-nominals and other benefits.

You will need to complete the application form below, provide the relevant details. The membership fee is waived for those meeting the minimum requirements. A receipt will be automatically emailed to you.

Step 2: Your member profile

Your new CMA Australia membership profile will be created with your personal details. Please note your username and password so you can use them to access members-only webpages once your application is completed.

Step 3: Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email within two business days and will be able to access our On Target website and other GMA member benefits. If your application does not meet requirements, you will be contacted with a recommendation.
