Formerly, Dean of Commerce at the University of South Australia. Worked at the University of Washington; University of Rhode Island; and University of Richmond in the USA; and at Melbourne University, Monash Universities and the Australian National University in Australia. Author of 30 books and over 300 academic papers. Professional experience at KPMG. Currently, consultant to United Nations on carbon policy and climate change. He is also a leading authority on the business and accounting implications of global warming and carbon – a recent co-authored paper was titled “An inconvenient truth about accounting: The Role of Accounting and Assurance Standards in Carbon Trading and Regulation”.
